  1. Dan Marino – The best at throwing the football that I have ever seen.  His stats would be insane in today’s league, and I don’t put as much stock in team sport Championships as most people do.
  2. Peyton Manning – Probably the most studied and football intelligent man to ever play the game.  Didn’t have a lot of what other guys do as far as physical tools, but his mind made him elite.
  3. Aaron Rodgers – Makes it look so easy and played in a place that actively tried to limit his weapons.  Huge arm, accuracy, touch, intelligence, and fucking swag.
  4. Tom Brady – The best at finding a way to win.  Competitiveness and desire, along with deep ball touch and indefensible accuracy on short throws made him almost impossible to stop.
  5. Patrick Mahomes – He will probably top this list soon.  He kinda has it all.  Gunslinger with tremendous accuracy, good mobility, and his football IQ is very high.
  6. Brett Favre – 3 step drop and fire the fucking thing.  I love a gunslinger, and I love Brett Favre.  His love of the game and absolute cannon of an arm made him one of the best guys to watch in history, and his numbers explain why he’s a legend.
  7. Steve Young – Captain controversy over here..  I think he’s better than his predecessor.  Short career, but he took care of the ball, could beat you with his legs, and was a southpaw.  What more do you want.
  8. Drew Brees – Pound for pound, maybe the best ever.  He was just undersized and lacked the arm strength to make that leap.  So smart, durable and efficient.
  9. Joe Montana – Cool, calm, and collected when it mattered the most.  Accurate and smart.  Other than Brady, the hardest guy to eliminate from the postseason.
  10. Russell Wilson – The best goddamn deep ball thrower in the history of the game.  Add in his mobility and he’s top 10 all day long, bitch.
  11. Ben Roethlisberger – I’m a Steelers fan, so maybe this is high, but the guy got it done in a lot of different ways.  He put up crazy numbers, was efficient when needed, and won the big games.
  12. Roger Staubach – Short but successful career.  Was efficient and was a winner.  Crazy life and great football man.
  13. Warren Moon – Could absolutely sling the rock.  Maybe the one guy I would pick if he had no coaching or training and you just needed a guy to throw the ball naturally.
  14. Kurt Warner – Ups and downs, and a weird and shortened career, but he was smart, could make all the throws, and always put his team in position to win.
  15. Matthew Stafford – Success in a shit situation his entire career so far.  Again, I love a gunslinger.  He’s durable, passionate, and opposing teams shit themselves when he’s in the 2-minute drill.  Lick my butt if you say Stafford isn’t a hall of famer.
  16. John Elway – Elway was great when the game was on the line. He also had a rocket and good mobility. I don’t think he was as good as we want to remember him to be, but still a legend.
  17. Matt Ryan – Big numbers with no big results, but the guy is smart, consistent, and a really good ball player. Terrible luck, but that’s the name of the game.
  18. Tony Romo – This guy gets disrespected a lot, but he was really good, and Aikman is not on this list.
  19. Phillip Rivers – All he does is run his mouth and fuck, but still found the time to put up crazy numbers in different systems. Probably my favorite release in history.
  20. Terry Bradshaw – Something has to be said for winning the big games. He had a lot of help, but he used his weapons properly and filled those fingers with rings.

Honorable Mentions :  Andrew Luck should be on this list, but no time for quitters. Eli should be mentioned.  Cam Newton had one of the best seasons in history, and was impossible to stop for a short time.  Deshaun (she was asking for it) Watson will be top 10 if he quits being a fucking creep.  I love Jim Kelly. Aikman obviously deserves a mention.

I’m just a douche with opinions just like you, but I’ve always loved watching the intricacies of the quarterback position.  I always argue about rankings so I decided to make a list and explain my positions.  I don’t care what the “experts” say, I have eyes and opinions too.
